A late Edo-period armour associated with the Maeda clan, distinguished by a Saotome kabuto and a refined, formal presentation characteristic of high-quality armour from the period. The ensemble combines the established traditions of Japanese armour-making with the more considered aesthetic seen in later Edo-period work.
