Description
An iron black lacquered 62 plate Koboshi Kabuto (decorative rivets) possibly made by the Hartua school. Classic mabizashi (visor) with decorative mayu (eyebrows). Five lame iron shikoro (neck guard) made in the hineno style laced in dark blue silk in the sugake-odoshi style. Asa ukebari (hemp liner) with soft hemp rope shinobi-no-o (helmet cord). Original wooden gilded wakidate (horns).

Menpo (face mask) made of black lacquered iron with shiwa (wrinkles) attached to a four lame tare (throat guard) laced in dark blue silk in the sugakeodoshi style.

Supplied with a wooden kabuto-tate (helmet display stand).

Dirt, scruffs and minor cracks and chips as to be expected of an armour of this age. Some UV damage to the silk. Repairs and urushi damage to the inside of the shikoro.
