We were asked if we could provide suitable armour to display at the museum. As the exhibition focussed on the transition and evolution of old Edo to new Tokyo, we had a perfect choice. Our armour is steeped in history with some parts dating from the late muromachi period to late edo where it had undergone changes meeting the demands of the age of peace. The armour was originally owned by Lord Oda Norihisa, who ruled over Omi. He was a descendant of the famous Oda Nobunaga. The installation looked fantastic and we were very proud to have taken part.
